M J Davis Valuations Pty Limited was incorporated under the ownership of Colin Sorrenson, F.A.P.I. and Anthony Looby, F.A.P.I. in April 1992.  The company has experienced solid growth in the ensuing period, now providing professional real estate and property consultancy advice to a wide variety of Government and private clients in all real estate sectors – residential, industrial, commercial, licensed premises, development analysis, aged care and litigation/compensation.

Our Head Office is centrally located at Liverpool, enabling the practice to service particularly the west and south-western suburbs of Sydney and generally the Sydney Metropolitan area.  Comprising 14 fully qualified Valuers and 2 assistant Valuers, together with 6 auxiliary office staff, the practice is now one of the largest in Sydney.

Valuation areas covered include mortgage, litigation, compensation, development/feasibility analysis and statutory valuations. Colin Sorrenson has particular expertise in litigation matters and continues to be utilised as an expert witness in major court cases.  Tony Looby has extensive knowledge of the Aged Care sector including nursing homes and retirement village valuations.

M J Davis Valuations is the preferred valuation consultant for the NSW Department of Housing in the Local Government areas of Liverpool, Campbelltown, Camden, Wollondilly, Parramatta, Auburn, Holroyd and Fairfield.

In addition, the consultancy has carried out large scale portfolio asset valuations on an annual basis for various government departments including the Housing Department, Defence Housing Authority, Roads and Traffic Authority and Australian Water Technologies.

The consultancy’s professional services are also utilised on a regular basis by the Australian Property Institute, Department of Urban Affairs and Planning, Blacktown, Bankstown, Campbelltown, Camden, Leichhardt and Liverpool City Councils, the Roads and Traffic Authority, Landcom, the Public Trustee, the Defence Housing Authority, Integral Energy, Australian Water Technologies and major public companies, including McDonald’s and Nepean Engineering.
